2nd Story Public Access Program
In the spirit of our core value of Inclusion and to eliminate financial barriers to our programming, we are introducing the 2nd Story Public Access program. For every show in our After Dark, 2nd Story on the Stage, and Stories at the Pub performance series we will set aside 10 free tickets.
Finding the Light: Stories of Becoming and Belonging
This Hanukkah, 2nd Story celebrates the everyday miracles of keeping our own lights flickering as we grow and change, both within ourselves and within our communities. What do you do when you discover your partner isn’t who you thought they were? Or when you hurt someone in the process of trying to connect with them? How do we come to terms with our desire to be seen publicly as who we are — even if that same visibility scares us, too? And, of course, that age-old Bar/Bat Mitzvah question: what does it mean to become an adult, and how do I do it?
Celebrate and learn about Hanukkah with 2nd Story this year by joining us for four stories that explore the continual processes of finding our light: of becoming ourselves and figuring out where and how we belong.
